Poll Language Options

You can customize the text and language you use in your poll by using a language pack. This only applies to embedded polls that are placed inside other pages. By embedding the poll you can change the language to any language you wish or just change the default English wording. You can change the language used in direct links to polls by selecting the appropriate language but you cannot change any of the included translations.

Embedded Polls

To get started, edit a poll and open Settings > Language > Edit Language Pack:

This page allows you to edit the language strings. You can use existing language settings as a basis for your new language. It can be a custom language setting you already created or one of the default Crowdsignal settings for different languages.

Edit your new phrases as you see fit:

At the end of the page, enter a name for the new language setting. Saving a new setting with the name of an existing language setting will not update the included language setting. It will create a new language setting with the same name as the included language setting under Your Settings.

Click Save Settings to save your changes.

Any polls using the changed language settings will be rebuilt. Reload any pages containing embedded polls to see the changes.
